Franklin County Employees Donate to Breast Cancer Support Organization

Franklin County employees raised $815 in October to support the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA).

A total of 147 employees from 25 departments participated by contributing through the county’s monthly “dress down” fundraiser and purchasing breast cancer awareness pins.

On Wednesday, Franklin County Commissioners and Human Resources Coordinator Keri Kenney presented the donation to CVBCA President Samantha Logsdon.

The check presentation reflected $805, but a donation made after the commissioners’ meeting brought the final total to $815.
