The Franklin County Commissioners are looking for interested applicants to represent the county in planning America’s Semiquincentinnial celebration.
Commissioners are asking for letters of interest from individuals wanting to represent Franklin County as part of the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (AMERICA250PA). The PA commission helps plan and coordinate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America in 2026.

County representatives participate on planning calls, as deemed appropriate by the subcommittee chair, and promoting and attending regional events. They will attend the A250PA Annual Fall Meeting in Harrisburg.
This position is board appointed and requires a six year commitment.
Interested parties are asked to email a letter of interest to Commissioners here no later than July 4. Applicants should include a statement about what makes them PA proud.
