Franklin County Offers Free Landex Record Alert Service for Property Owners

Franklin County property owners can register for a free notification service through the Franklin County Register & Recorder’s Office to monitor documents filed on their property.

The Landex Record Alert system notifies property owners any time a document is filed or corrected in the Register & Recorder’s Office that references the property’s county-assigned, 20-character tax parcel identification number.

There is no fee to register for alerts. County officials note the notification tool is not intended to replace services offered by paid title security companies but provides an optional, added layer of security for property owners.
