Franklin County Recognizes Correctional Officers Week

The Franklin County Department of Emergency Services recognized Correctional Officers Week by honoring the men and women who work for Franklin County Corrections.

The department thanked correctional officers for their commitment, resilience and professionalism.

As part of the recognition, Franklin County 911 dispatch staff dropped off snacks for corrections staff as a small token of appreciation.

The Department of Emergency Services also thanked corrections staff for their service and partnership in public safety.

The Franklin County Free Press, established by Vicky Taylor in 2019, emerged as a beacon of local journalism for the residents of Franklin County. Rooted in the heart of Franklin County and powered by its residents, the Franklin County Free Press continues to bridge the gap, ensuring that the local stories, events, and issues that matter most to the community remain in the spotlight.
