Franklin County Republicans to Have Booth at 91st Annual Quincy Ox Roast

The Franklin County Republican Committee will have a booth during the 91st Annual Quincy Ox Roast over Labor Day weekend.

The booth will provide voter registration opportunities, election information, information about getting involved and campaign signs. The committee states that the deadline to register to vote for the upcoming election is Oct. 19.

Booth hours are scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4; 4 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6; and 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 7.

The Quincy Ox Roast is held by the Quincy Community Center and Ox Roast Association and is described as an annual Franklin County community tradition.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township

Residential and recreational areas in Hamilton Township will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset on Sept. 8.  Areas to be sprayed include but are not limited to: Sollenberger Road, Johnson Road, Leedy Drive, Holly Lane, Hamilton
