Franklin County Senior Pantry Day Scheduled in Greencastle

The next Franklin County Senior Pantry Day will be held Monday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greencastle Senior Activity Center.

Franklin County residents age 60 and older may receive a free food box containing nonperishable items, fruits, vegetables and meats. Hygiene products will also be available to those in need. The items are being provided through Helping Hands and Caring Hearts.

Because of grant funding requirements, only individuals age 60 and older may attend. Caregivers accompanying a senior are permitted, but other people under age 60 will not be allowed inside the building.
