“Way to go St. Thomas”

St. Thomas – Anyone driving through St. Thomas recently wouldn’t help noticing the flag-lined main street. It was an impressive sight.

All along Lincoln Way West, on each side, a U.S. “flag was placed on each utility pole. What a fitting tribute during Memorial  Day week and a good showcase during the community’s annual ox roast.

Putting anything on a utility pole requires the permission of the electric company because it can be dangerous, but these flags sure did look good.

Three cheers St. Thomas!
