“Topless Cans Lawn Problem”
Chambersburg – If you think 75 topless garbage cans are a problem, think of the guy who ends up with all the bottomless lids.
A prankster lifted the lids from 75 neighborhood garbage cans and dumped them on Norman Cooper’s lawn.
Twenty-five neighbors have gotten their cans and lids together again, leaving Cooper with 50 lids.
“We’ll keep them through the weekend.” says Mrs. Cooper. “Then maybe we’ll take the handles off and sell them as sleds.”

“Regulator at light plant gets stuck”

Adjustments were made and no further trouble is looked for, although there is nothing sure about such delicately constructed machinery.
