Shippensburg University senior Gabriella Johnson (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) has qualified for the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships. She will represent the Raiders in competition March 11-14 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Johnson qualified on the strength of her times in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.01) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.96).
It marks the second consecutive year that Johnson has qualified for the national championships. It is the third straight year that Shippensburg had had a swimmer qualify for nationals (Stephanie O’Toole in 2018).
