Greencastle-Antrim Cross Country Splits With Boiling Springs

Greencastle-Antrim opened its cross country season Tuesday with a split against Boiling Springs in a Mid Penn Colonial Division meet at home. The Blue Devil boys earned a 28-31 victory, while the girls fell 15-55.

In the boys race, Greencastle-Antrim placed three runners consecutively from third through fifth. Billy Bender led the Blue Devils with a third-place finish in 20:13, followed by Micah Bennett in fourth at 20:19 and Kelson Wenger in fifth at 20:20.

Ace Monn added a seventh-place finish in 21:27, while Liam Eckstine took ninth in 22:59 to complete Greencastle-Antrim’s scoring.

The Greencastle-Antrim girls competed with only two runners. Lillian Denlinger finished sixth in 27:45, and Monica Schemel placed seventh in 27:51.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township
