Harold L Plasterer, 90, known by many as Barney, 6326 Jack Road, St. Thomas, PA, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Harold was born in Chambersburg, PA on January 2, 1933, the youngest son of the late Roy C. and Mary C. (Duncan) Plasterer.

He married Miriam L. Myers on July 1, 1953. After 60 years of marriage, she died October 16, 2013. He served in the US Military during the Korean War. January 1953 to January 1955.

Harold was a truck driver most of his life. He was employed by Walter Brothers Beverage of Chambersburg and Allegheny Pepsi of Newville. He retired March 1995 from Coco Cola.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Daniel and John and a sister Betty Violet.

He is survived by his three sons, Rodney (Butch), Michael (Mike), Steven (Steve) and their families including grandchildren: Lisa, Eric, Adam, Wyatt, Laken, Colby, Cassidy and Chase as well as several great and great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, with Pastor Matthew Kayhart, officiating.

Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, LTD., Chambersburg, PA has been entrusted with his care.
