PSP assault case: Harrisburg man in custody
A Harrisburg man is in custody, charged with attempted homicide just hours after police released surveillance video taken at a Dauphin County club where he allegedly injured another person and the club bouncer.

Photos of Austin Matthew Putric were circulated on media websites Monday morning just before 8 a.m., with police asking for help in identifying and locating the suspect. His identity was unknown at the time, but the surveillance photos were clear and detailed.
Putric turned himself in at the Pennsylvania State Police Newport station at about 11:50 a.m.
The attack happened at about 3 a.m. last Wednesday in a club at 21 Benevenue Road, Reed Township. Putric allegedly jumped, strangled, and beat the victim. The victim lost consciousness but a bouncer at the club was able to stop the attack.
The Castaways Gentlemen’s Club is identified as being located ay the Benevenue Road address in Duncannon.
The suspect, now identified as Putric, then assaulted the bouncer before fleeing the club. Both the Victim and Bouncer suffered severe injuries.
He is being arraigned on criminal attempted homicide and lesser charges, police said.
A search of the state’s unified justice system online records does not show sny prior record fot Putric.
