This April, the Y invites families across the community to participate in Healthy Kids Day®, a national initiative dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children and their families. Celebrated for over three decades, Healthy Kids Day® is a hallmark of the Y’s commitment to fostering a love for physical and mental wellness among the youth. This event is not just an opportunity to have fun but a call to action for children and their families to engage in activities that encourage lifelong health, especially during the summer months and beyond.

This year’s event, held on Saturday, April 20th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, is open and free to the public, embodying the Y’s mission to offer inclusive, community-building experiences.

National Sponsorship by Peanuts The 2024 Healthy Kids Day boasts the support of Peanuts as its national sponsor. This partnership between Peanuts Worldwide and YMCA of the USA signifies a multi-year collaboration aimed at expanding access to summer camp, fostering innovative conservation initiatives, and nurturing leadership skills among youth in the United States and abroad. The collaboration also confirms Peanuts Worldwide as the returning national sponsor for the 2025 Healthy Kids Day, solidifying their commitment to youth wellness and environmental stewardship.
