Hit-and-Run Incident Involving Damaged Fire Hydrant in Chambersburg

On June 2, 2024, the Chambersburg Police Department responded to a hit-and-run report at 724 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. A fire hydrant was struck and toppled overnight.

Car parts left at the scene, including a black plastic rocker panel from a 2007-2010 Dodge Charger or a similar model, suggest the vehicle involved is likely a metallic blue Dodge Charger from those years, showing passenger side damage. Found were also metallic blue paint chips.

The Chambersburg Police seek information on the incident and encourage contacts through their line at 717-264-4131 or via the Crimewatch website.
