The “Holly Propagation, Selection, and Collections” webinar will occur from noon to 1:15 p.m.

This event is designed for landscape professionals, nursery professionals, foresters, arborists,
greenhouse growers, landowners, grounds managers, Arboreta professionals, conservation
professionals, Penn State Master Gardeners, home gardeners, and individuals interested in hollies
and native plants.
In this presentation, Sue Hunter, owner of Heartwood Nursery and president of the Holly Society
of America, will take an in-depth look at holly propagation techniques, the process of becoming
a Certified Holly Arboretum, and standout holly selections well-suited to the Piedmont and
Coastal regions.
This webinar will also explore complementary native plants for sustainable landscapes, offering
practical insights and propagation techniques for nursery growers, landscape professionals, and
Master Gardeners seeking to expand their expertise and plant palettes.
Continuing education credits will be available from the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery
Association for participants.
Penn State Extension offers this event at no charge or for $10 for those seeking credits.
Organizers note that space is limited, so preregistration is required. The registration deadline is
