A community pep rally supporting Special Olympics athletes will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Fieldhouse as part of the Franklin County Hometown Torch Run.
The Flame of Hope is scheduled to arrive around 4:20 p.m. The event will include food, games and music, along with remarks from a speaker identified as Dominic.
The rally will help raise funds for Special Olympics athletes.
