The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office announced that an inmate escaped from the Cumberland County Prison Work Release Center during his work release on Monday, August 19. William Kenneth Rosner, 46, who has addresses previously listed in Lemoyne, Philadelphia, Allentown, Northampton, and Harrisburg, is now wanted on a felony escape charge.
Rosner’s last known location was at a Walmart in Carlisle, as confirmed by authorities. He was originally incarcerated on a misdemeanor drug charge, to which he pleaded guilty in July in Dauphin County. According to court records, Rosner has a criminal record dating back to 2000 with offenses recorded in several counties including Lehigh, York, Dauphin, Northampton, and Philadelphia. His criminal activities have included endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence, receiving stolen property, drug possession, retail theft, driving without a license, trespass, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.
