Shippensburg University sophomore Tess Jedeloo (Amsterdam, The Netherlands/Hervormd Lyceum Zuid) was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Hockey Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon after totaling five goals in a three-game span.
Jedeloo, scored two goals in a 4-3 overtime victory over Mansfield, including the game-winning overtime goal.
Against Belmont Abbey, Jedeloo scored the game-tying goal after the Crusaders took the lead. She then made her 1v1 penalty attempt, which gave the Raiders the shootout victory, 2-1.
On Sunday against Limestone, Jedeloo scored the game-winning goal and led the Raiders to a 9-0 win, as she scored back-to-back goals within 30 seconds of each other.
She is tied in the league and team for most goals and she leads the league in game-winning goals (3).
It is Jedeloo’s first career honor and second time this season that a Raider has been named the PSAC Athlete of the Week; Agus Garibaldi was named last week’s AOTW.
