Katrina Mae Pryor

She spent her life in the communities of Sabillasville, Cascade, and Thurmont, Maryland, where she formed lasting friendships and created a lifetime of cherished memories.

Trini was a proud graduate of Thurmont High School, Class of 1968. On July 5, 1970, she married her beloved husband, David L. Pryor. Together, they shared many years of love, companionship, and the everyday moments that make a life meaningful. David was not only her husband but also her partner through life’s joys and challenges.

After graduating from high school, Trini began her career with R.R. Donnelley, formerly known as Moore Business Forms. She devoted more than 40 years to the company before retiring. Her long career reflected her dependable nature, strong work ethic, and commitment to everything she undertook.

Trini had a warm and caring spirit and found great joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. She loved tending to her houseplants and flowers, filling her home and surroundings with color and life. She enjoyed crafting, baking, and taking trips to Lancaster, where she made memories that her family will always treasure. Most of all, Trini loved being with her family. Time spent together—whether gathered around the table, sharing something she had baked, enjoying a conversation, or simply being in one another’s company—was especially precious to her.

She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Trini had a way of making family gatherings feel special, and her presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her. The memories she created with her loved ones, from holiday gatherings and family visits to everyday moments of laughter and togetherness, will remain close to their hearts.

Trini was a friend of St. John’s Reformed Church and enjoyed attending services whenever she was able. Her faith and connection to the church were meaningful parts of her life.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David L. Pryor; her brother, Albert “Skeeter” Fox, and his wife, Pam; and her nephew, Kevin Fox. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Carolyn S. Kieholtz and her husband, William, of Thurmont; Sharon K. Erdenbrack and her husband, John, of Cascade; and Patricia A. Miller and her husband, Tim, of Cascade; and her brother-in-law, Dwight E. Pryor and his wife, Mary, of Fairfield, Pennsylvania.

Trini also leaves behind five nieces—Laura, Larissa, Amy, Kaitlyn, and Kenzie; five great-nephews—Mason, Parker, Oliver, Owen, and Leo; and three great-nieces—Marlee, Elliana, and Lorelai. She loved her family deeply, and each of them held a special place in her heart.

Trini will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, spunky spirit, and the love she showed through the many thoughtful things she did for others. She will be remembered in the flowers she nurtured, the crafts she created, the baked goods she shared, the trips and gatherings enjoyed together, and the countless memories she made with the people she loved.

Her family and friends will miss her deeply, but they will carry her love, her laughter, and her memory with them always.

A private graveside service and internment will be held at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania online here, or to St. John’s Reformed Church at P.O. Box 137, Sabillasville, MD 21780.

Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA is handling the arrangements.
