Kenneth E Grace, Sr., 80, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023 at his home.
Born January 11, 1943 in Sidman, PA, he was the son of the late Howard Glyde and Cathrine Rose Fisher Grace.
Ken was employed as a painter at Letterkenny Army Depot until his retirement. He was a member of the Franklin Fire Police and served as Captain for several years. An avid deer hunter Ken enjoyed the outdoors, visiting Atlantic City, NJ, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Russell Grace, whom he married on September 21, 1963; four children, Debra Swailes of Chambersburg, Brenda Goeins of Chambersburg, Kenneth E. Grace, Jr., of Winchester, VA, and Kevin Grace (wife Stacy) of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren, Josh, John, DJ, Kala, Michael, Dalton and Taylor; and four great grandchildren plus one on-the-way.
Aside from his parents, Ken was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, among them, Lois Koontz, with whom he was very close.
Service and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA.
