Keystone Health is reminding women to stay current with breast cancer screenings during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Mammograms are recommended beginning at age 40 for women at average risk. Women with risk factors, including a family history of breast cancer, may need to begin screening earlier.
Anyone who is due for a mammogram or notices changes in their breasts should contact a healthcare provider.
