Larry J. “Butch” Dillman, 67, of Hustontown, PA passed away on September 01, 2026.
Butch was born on May 22, 1959, in Lewistown, PA, the son of the late Carl R. Dillman Jr. and the late Shirley Miller Kerlin.
Butch was a person of many interests, and an entrepreneur at heart, owning a septic business, a trucking business and was a sub-contractor for PennDOT. He also worked many years in the construction industry for Madden and George S. Hann & Son.
Butch was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Butch’s greatest joy in life was helping people. Butch was a “rough around the edges” guy, but anyone who knew him, knew he was generous in his time and would help anyone in need.
Butch is survived by his three children, Steve (husband of Carmella) Dillman of Stone Ridge, VA, Mindy (wife of Steven) Group of McConnellsburg, PA, and Cord Dillman of Hustontown, PA, and four grandchildren (Teddy, Jane, Abby, and Harper). Butch is also survived by his stepfather, Donald Kerlin of McConnellsburg, PA, and three siblings, Carl R. “Ramie” Dillman III of Warfordsburg, PA, Tina Sanders of Gettysburg, PA and Donnie Kerlin of McConnellsburg, PA.
In addition to his parents, Butch is preceded in death by a brother, Doug Kerlin.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
