Leota C. Butler, age 85 of Biglerville, passed away January 31, 2025 at Hanover Hospital.
She was born May 4, 1939 in Mt Pleasant Township, Adams County to the late William H. and Anna E. (Mummert) Butler.
Leota was a member of Flohr’s Lutheran Church, Biglerville Senior Citizens and a lifetime member of the Cashtown/McKnightstown Senior Citizens.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special great-nephew, Sereck Griffin, whom she babysat and he helped her read ingredients when baking in the kitchen.
She was preceded in death by ten siblings, Anna Golden, Loretta Sandoe, Loring Butler, Marlin Butler, A. Richard Butler, Clarence Butler, Ralph Butler, John Butler, Lloyd Butler and Myrna Zinn.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc, 111 S. Main Street Bendersville. At Leota’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Leota will be laid to rest at New Oxford Cemetery.
