Births: Local families had baby girls in 2020

Two local families recently provided information about the births of their baby girls in 2020.

Franklin County Free Press welcomes birth announcements and is working on making our online submission form more user friendly, as well as proving readers with an opportunity to share important details about their newborns.

Our first birth submission came in last summer and was shared worldwide, basically because the infant’s maternal grandparents live in the Ukraine and Russia.

While we don’t expect most birth announcements to have that unique aspect, we do delight in helping new parents share the most recent additions to their families. Parents, or grandparents (with the parents permission) are invited to submit birth announcements either using the form on our website, or by email at [email protected]

Baylee Mello

Diane and Kevin Mello, of Fayetteville, had a daughter, Baylee, April 30, 2020, at Crogan Pike Hospital in Greensburg.

Baylee’s maternal grandparents are Edward Mull and Patricia Copeland-Mull, of Greensburg. Her paternal grandparents are Raymond and Patricia Mello of Greensburg.

Baylee has a brother, Carson Mello.

Brinley Hurst

Dakota and Tiffany Hurst, St. Thomas, had a daughter, Brinley, on October 29, 2020, at UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

Brinley’s maternal grandparents are Ken and Barb Bricker of Chambersburg. Her paternal grandparents are Dick and Tina Hurst of Fort Loudon.
