Marcia “Marci” J. Saterbak 1940~2021
Marcia “Marci” J. Saterbak, 80, of Waynesboro, died peacefully at home on January 4, 2021 surrounded by family.
She was born in Illinois in 1940 and lived in several states before moving to the Waynesboro area in 1984.
In addition to her parents, Marci was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Billy and daughter, Pamela.
She is survived by: her wonderful husband, Mike; her treasured daughters, Shauna Rosenberger and Susan Martin (Dan); four grandsons: Joshua Rosenberger, Michael Rosenberger, David Rosenberger, Matthew Rosenberger; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Marci was a homemaker who loved working in flower gardens and hosting events in her home. She treasured friendships and enjoyed leading Bible Studies and creating opportunities for fellowship by hosting lunches and teas. She was a loving and nurturing person who was always ready to listen.
She enjoyed writing about her childhood memories and creating puppet shows for her grandsons. Marci felt it was important to “always keep a little bit of child in you. It will bring you treasured memories.”
Aside from the Truths presented in the Holy Bible, one of her favorite quotes was “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.” Marci lived her life to honor and bless her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
Mrs. Saterbak was a member of Otterbein Church, Waynesboro and Parkinson’s Support Group, Hagerstown, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Otterbein Church, 912 S. Potomac Street, Waynesboro, with Pastor Mike Newman officiating.
Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
