Mark P Drahuschak

Born December 28, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Burin) Drahuschak.

Mark was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School for Boys with the Class of 1977.

He and his wife of over 18 years, Mrs. Robin E. (Kramer) Drahuschak, were married February 14, 2004.

Mark had a lifelong career as an environmental consultant and was a dedicated Certified Project Manager and industrial hygienist for Arcadis for the past 11 years. At Arcadis he managed the Mid-Atlantic region on the Bank of America account for many years, while serving both Lincoln Harris and CBRE as facility vendors on the account. He was an accomplished indoor air quality assessor, he successfully managed hundreds of projects, and provided senior review on over 1000 technical reports.

Mark forged many strong relationships both inside and outside of Arcadis on the bank account, and he was also involved in other accounts, including T-Mobile, Fresenius, Suntrust Bank, and most recently the Prince Georges County Public schools project. Mark received many accolades for his accomplishments at Arcadis and will be greatly missed by his colleagues and clients.

In his younger years, as a new father, Mark was a wonderful teacher and enjoyed showing his three boys about the simple pleasures in life. Playing sports in the back yard, picking blueberries at the farm for homemade blueberry pancakes, or going for a swim a sunset with the tiki torches glowing in the dark. He was a stern leader and would be the first to show by example that hard work pays off.

He wanted to share with others what he loved, whether that was games, sports, hobbies, jokes, or just experiences. He had the ability to make you laugh as he was such a goof ball. Mark was totally devoted to his family and loved his three Scottie’s, Scully, Runson and Louie Kramer. He enjoyed his Ravens football and his Flyer Hockey

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Mark Kenneth Drahuschak, Kyle Drahuschak and his wife Samantha, Thaddeus Drahuschak and his wife Victoria; grandchildren: Waverly, Berkely, and Kaylee and brother Michael Drahuschak

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Rose Drahuschak Prinkey, and her husband John Prinkey.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday January 23, 2023, at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro, with Rev. Steve Sheldon officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Cascade, MD.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Monday morning, in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Last Chance Ranch online here.

Online condolences can be expressed at the funeral home’s website.
