Meet Norman Greenbaum and Hendrix, this week’s CVAS pets of the week. These are just two of the amazing animals residing at area animal shelters.
Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes. While Norman and Hendrix would like to meet you, check out all the other wonderful animals available for adoption also. Go to this Animal Shelter link to see all their residents.
CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.
Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons, in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.
Meet Norman, an American/Lionhead
Norman Greenbaum was found as a stray and brought into the shelter.
It was evident that Norman had been on his own for awhile. He had burrs stuck in his fur, a huge oil spot on his back, a scratch on his nose and a larger wound on his back leg that is still healing.
He’s an American/Lionhead mix rabbit who is 2 years old and would love to find his forever home where he won’t have to worry about being left on his own ever again.
Meet Hendrix, with the Mickey Mouse ears
Hendrix came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about him. We think he’s 2 years old and is a very sweet boy.
He kind of has Mickey Mouse ears with his coloring and he loves to pop his head up over the big window in the lobby and watch what’s going on.
Whoever gets Hendrix is going to have a wonderful companion!
