Meritus Health Highlights Immunization Awareness Month

Meritus Health is reminding the public about the importance of staying current on recommended vaccines during Immunization Awareness Month.

Vaccines can help protect individuals, families and communities from preventable diseases. Recommended immunizations can vary based on a person’s age, health and lifestyle.

Meritus Health advises patients to speak with their primary care provider to determine which vaccines are recommended for them and whether they are up to date on their immunizations.

Appointments with Meritus Health primary care providers can be scheduled to discuss immunizations and other preventive care.
