Meritus Health provides school-based healthcare services at Western Heights Middle School and South Hagerstown High School.
The health centers are available to students who have completed an enrollment form. Parents or guardians who want their child to use the services must complete the required enrollment form.
The centers are staffed by nurse practitioners and nurses. Services can include evaluations, treatment and medication when appropriate.
Meritus Health said care is provided regardless of income, insurance status or ability to pay. Services are also coordinated with a student’s regular healthcare provider.
