Meritus Health Promotes Virtual Care Option During Winter Weather

Meritus Health is encouraging patients to use its MeritusNow virtual care service if winter weather makes travel difficult.

According to Meritus Health, providers are currently treating patients for conditions including urinary tract infections, pink eye, and lingering coughs. With flu and other respiratory illnesses circulating, the health system says staying home when possible can help reduce the spread of illness.

MeritusNow allows patients to see a provider using a phone, smartphone, computer, or tablet. Appointments can be scheduled online at http://www.now.meritushealth.com.
