Meritus Health Recognized for Surgical Care Excellence

Meritus Health has been ranked No. 2 in Maryland for Surgical Care and received the 2026 Surgical Care Excellence Award from Healthgrades.

The recognition includes advanced cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization and pacemaker implantation. According to Healthgrades, patients treated at hospitals receiving this award have, on average, a 32.9% lower risk of complications compared to hospitals without the designation.
