Meritus Health Reports Increase in Respiratory, Urinary and Gastrointestinal Complaints

Meritus Health providers are seeing an increase in sinus and upper respiratory complaints, urinary tract infections and gastrointestinal symptoms.

Reported respiratory symptoms include congestion, sinus pressure, coughing and sore throat. Providers are also seeing patients with diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

Meritus Health recommends staying hydrated, getting adequate rest, washing hands frequently and monitoring symptoms that persist or worsen.

Virtual appointments are available through MeritusNow using a smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera. Appointments can be scheduled at now.meritushealth.com.
