Meritus Health Welcomes Therapy Dog

Meritus Health has added a new therapy dog to its team. Jake, accompanied by his owner Margaret, will provide comfort and support to patients, visitors, and staff.

The photo shared of Jake was taken in the health system’s outdoor eating area, a space donated by Margaret’s parents. A plaque recognizing their contribution is displayed at the site.

Jake and Margaret will be serving as part of Meritus Health’s efforts to support the well-being of those at the facility.
