Meritus Medical Center’s Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum team has earned Gold- and Silver-level recognition from the Maryland Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Collaborative for its work to improve maternal and newborn care.
The recognition highlights efforts to improve care related to obstetric hemorrhage and newborn hypoglycemia. The team’s work includes using data, established safety practices and collaboration with health care teams across Maryland.
