GETTYSBURG, PA – A Gettysburg youth who was originally reported to be a missing person less than 24 hours ago is now charged with attempted homicide.
Octavian Perez, 16, was last seen on August 4, 2019, in Bonneauville Borough. Pennsylvania State Police in Adams County say he is still at large today.
Perez was first reported as a runaway.
Police said that during their missing person investigation, it was determined the teen was had caused severe bodily harm to a juvenile victim whose name was not released.
An arrest warrant was issued and charges filed with Magisterial District Judge Daniel S. Bowman. Perez is wanted on multiple charges, including:
- F1 Criminal Attempt – Criminal Homicide
- F1 Aggravated Assault
- F2 Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck
- F2 Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck
- M1 Simple Assault
- M2 Recklessly Endangering Another Person
- M2 Indec Asslt-W/O Cons Of Other
