HERSHEY (Sept. 18, 2019) — The Penn State Mont Alto golf team competed at the Hershey Country Club on Tuesday afternoon, finishing 10th in the Elizabethtown Invitational.
Millersville University won the event with a team score of 302, followed by PSU Berks and Hood College. PSUMA finished with four-man round of 347.
Hunter Reath (Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan) led the way after he completed his round in 84 strokes. Right behind him was Paul Steiger (Waynesboro, Pa. / Waynesboro Area) and Carson Helfrick (Shippesburg, Pa. / Shippesburg) who each fired rounds of 85. Cameron Lee (Warrenton, Va. / Fauquier) at 93 strokes and Dylan Loss with a 95 rounded out the Lions.
Mont Alto will return to University Park for its second PSUAC Invitational of the season on Monday on the University’s Blue Course. Mont Alto is the host of the event with tee-offs beginning at 10:00 am.
