Motorcyclist Killed in Early Morning Crash in Adams County

A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday, June 23, in Butler Township, Adams County, according to emergency dispatchers.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Heidlersburg Road near Guernsey Road. No other vehicles were involved.

Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow identified the victim as Cory Higgs, 34, of Biglerville. Higgs died at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries. His death was ruled accidental.

Heidlersburg Road (Route 234) was closed between Old Carlisle and Guernsey roads for several hours while Pennsylvania State Police investigated the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
