Multiple Consumer Product Recalls Announced April 2

A series of consumer product recalls were announced April 2 involving toys, bed rails, hair growth products, outdoor gear, chargers, cookware, furniture and children’s sleepwear due to hazards including choking, battery ingestion, poisoning, fire, entrapment, falls, burns and impact injuries.

Among the recalls, Coluans Christmas Light-Up Rings and Gavoyeat Halloween Light-Up Rings were recalled because children can easily access the button cell batteries inside the toys. Officials said swallowed button cell or coin batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death. About 3,540 Coluans rings and about 800 Gavoyeat rings were affected. Consumers are advised to take the products away from children, stop using them immediately, remove and properly dispose of the batteries, and follow the refund instructions provided by the sellers.

Several adult portable bed rails were also recalled. ELENKER Portable Bed Rails, sold on Amazon by Fuzhou Shiahaha Cultural Industry Development, were recalled because users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the rail and the mattress, creating a risk of asphyxiation. About 30 units were affected. Sangohe also reannounced and expanded its adult portable bed rails recall for the same entrapment and asphyxiation hazards. About 36,500 units are included in the expanded recall, in addition to about 26,200 units previously recalled in January 2026. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled bed rails immediately and contact the firms for refund instructions.

Two hair growth products containing minoxidil were recalled because their packaging was not child-resistant, violating federal packaging standards and posing a poisoning risk if swallowed by young children. About 6,200 Tuymec Minoxidil Hair Growth Spray Bottles and about 900 TecFlox Hair and Beard Growth Serum Bottles were affected. Consumers should place the products out of the sight and reach of children and contact the companies for replacement packaging.

OCUN NA recalled Condor HMS Triple Carabiners because the gate can malfunction and fail to close automatically, creating a fall hazard. About 295 were sold in the United States, with an additional nine sold in Canada. Consumers should stop using the recalled carabiners and contact the company for a free replacement.

Children’s spiral tower toy sets sold on Amazon by Beestech were recalled because they contain small balls and are intended for children younger than 3, posing a choking hazard. About 200 units were affected. Consumers should take the toys away from children immediately and contact the seller for a refund.

HTRC and Haisito T400 Battery Chargers, manufactured by Huizhou Haitan Technology, were recalled because the chargers can ignite or cause a connected battery to ignite, posing a fire hazard. About 4,800 units were recalled. Consumers should stop using the chargers immediately and contact the firm for return and refund instructions.

Samson International recalled Bellevue and Oaklynn Canopy Bed Frames because the canopy beams can collapse, especially when the bed is moved, creating impact and injury hazards. About 5,600 units were sold in the United States and about 516 in Canada. Consumers are advised not to move the bed frames and to contact the company for a free repair and installation kit.

E Mishan recalled Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Stainless Sauté Pans because the metal cap connecting the handle to the pan can detach and forcefully eject when heated, creating impact and burn hazards. About 740,000 units were recalled. Consumers should stop using the pans and contact the company for a refund.

Sam’s Club also recalled Member’s Mark Children’s Pajama Sets because they fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard. About 18,000 units were affected. Consumers should stop using the pajamas, take them away from children and contact Sam’s Club for refund instructions.
