Multiple-Vehicle Crash Reported on I-81 Near Chambersburg

Franklin Fire Company and several other emergency crews responded to a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 north of the Wayne Avenue exit in Chambersburg.

Squad 41 and Engine 43 responded with eight personnel and found several tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles involved in a rear-end collision.

Emergency medical personnel evaluated those involved. No one required transportation to a hospital.

Crews contained oil and milk leaks, removed debris and directed traffic. Fire police from multiple companies and Pennsylvania State Police also assisted at the scene.
