Mrs. Nancy Ann Ebersole (Buchanan), 80, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, in her home.

Born January 15, 1942, in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Angle) Buchanan.

She graduated from Greencastle High School with the class of 1960.

She married Lawrence M. Ebersole January 19, 1963, in Hagerstown, MD.

Nancy’s employment included the Stanley Co., Chambersburg, PA, Regency in Waynesboro, PA, and Corning Glass, Greencastle.

She was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Hagerstown, MD.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Nancy made room in her heart for all who knew her. She was a sweet hostess, who loved to cook and bake for all who came into her home. You would never leave hungry! Working in her flower beds always made her happy. She also liked putting together jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

In addition to her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by three sons: Doug Ebersole (Beverly), Greencastle, Greg Ebersole (Lori), Greencastle, and Jeff Ebersole (Paula), Ninety Six, SC; six grandchildren: Kayla Thornlow (Matthew), RaeAnn Coulter (Jonathan), Kelsey Ernst (Christian), Kasey Martin (Hunter), Kodi Shingler (Colton), Madison Ebersole; seven great-grandchildren: Haydn, Brook, Dawson, Rowan, Gemma, Joseph and Juliet; two siblings: Ken Buchanan and Eileen Reeder, both of Greencastle, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Geraldine Witter, Valance Buchanan, Thelma Buchanan, Harry Buchanan, Joann Zeger, Phyllis Shetter, and Aden Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 13, 2022, in Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, MD 21740, officiated by Pastor Leon Witter.

Burial will follow in Broadfording Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, and again one hour prior to the service, at the church on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
