According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), more bicyclist fatalities occurred between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. during the fall months of 2023 than at any other time of day.
NHTSA is urging drivers and bicyclists to be cautious during this period and to follow bicycle safety guidelines. More information is available at NHTSA.gov/BicycleSafety.
