The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reminding drivers and pedestrians to use extra caution during shorter days and evening commutes as part of Pedestrian Safety Month.
Drivers are urged to slow down, especially near crosswalks and when visibility is limited. Pedestrians are advised to follow the rules of the road and use crosswalks when available.
