I bought the O-Cedar EasyWring Microfiber Spin Mop Bucket Floor Cleaning System on Amazon for $30. It’s a very lightweight and durable mop and bucket. I really like it and recommend it to anyone who needs a mop for their home.
This mop and bucket system is designed for the average house. With the exception of the mop head, the unit is made entirely of heavy duty plastic and surprisingly durable. I have been using it on both tile and wood floors for about 6 months without issue.
My daughter uses everything with brute force and she has not broken it yet, and I have seen this girl break things taking them out of the package.
The system spins the mop head in a basket using centrifugal force to remove the water from the mop head. The dirty water is captured in a basin that drains back into the bucket. No hands, no bending over and no mess makes me one happy person.
It is easy to control how much water you have in your mop head. For a wet mop you just need a 2 or 3 pumps and for a dryer mop you need a few extra pumps on the foot pedal.
The microfiber mop head is like a magnet to dirt. It works both on tile and hardwood floors. It is not that heavy but it makes up for it with results. When used correctly it will not leave residue on the floor. Your floor will be clean and looking beautiful.
Cleanup is a breeze with this lightweight bucket. The pour lip and handle on the foot pump makes it easy to empty the bucket. Then spray it out, turn it over and let it drip dry. Toss the mop head into the washing machine and wash on gentle cycle. When the mop head wears out — and they are microfiber mop heads so they do not last as long as a cotton mophead — just replace the old one with a new one.
In conclusion, I like this mop and bucket alot. I give it a two thumbs up!
