Ms. Wendy R. Rinehart, 46, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the Chambersburg Hospital following a battle with cancer. 

Born May 23, 1973 in Waynesboro she was the daughter of Richard M. Rinehart, Jr. of Waynesboro and the late Linda L. (Berger) Rinehart. 

Wendy was a graduate of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1991.  

She was employed as a child care giver at various locations in the area. Previously she had been employed as a school bus driver and at First Data and Citi Corp in Hagerstown, MD. 

Wendy attended Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro. She had a love for children which was apparent with her work in day care centers. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. 

In addition to her father, she is survived by four children: Ryan M. Rinehart, Megan N. Rinehart, Katelyn M. Rinehart, and Allison G. Rinehart-Strawser all of Waynesboro; one sister, Laura Shockey of Carlisle, PA; and one niece, Amber Shockey.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 17, 2020 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. 

There will be no public viewing, however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Monday morning, in the funeral home.
