Shippensburg University sophomore midfielder K.K. O’Donnell and senior forward Izzy Weigel became part of the 2019 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Second Team Thursday. The league’s coaches announced their decision to add the two Red Raiders following a vote.

It is the first All-PSAC accolade for O’Donnell and the second for Weigel (2017 All-PSAC Third Team).

O’Donnell ranked second on the team with four assists while ranking third on the squad with three goals and 10 points. She posted goals this season against Shepherd and Lock Haven. She provided assists against Frostburg, Shepherd, East Stroudsburg, and Mansfield – resulting in at least one point in six games.

Weigel finished as one of just seven players in the conference with 11 or more goals this season. She ranked sixth in the league with 28 points by posting single-season career highs of 11 goals and six assists.

Her 11 goals are the most in a single season by a Raider in 10 years. Her 28 points are the most in a single season by a Raider in 11 years. (Kuntzmann had 11 goals in 2009 and 34 points in 2008). The six assists are the most in a single season by a Raider since Stephanie Allshouse had six in 2016.

The All-PSAC honors are the first for Shippensburg since Weigel was honored in 2017, and the most in a single season for Shippensburg since three Raiders were honored in 2016.
