One injured in crash on LWE at Quarry Road
One person was injured in a crash on Lincoln Way East and Quarry Road this morning. Pennsylvania State Police have not yet released a report with details or the name of the driver.
Franklin Fire Company was called to the crash scene at 7:45 a.m. to assist with the extrication of the driver, who was reported to be trapped inside the vehicle.
First responders on the scene found a single vehicle struck a utility pole and rolled several times.
Franklin’s B team stabilized the vehicle while the A team prepared for a door pop using the Holmatro – Rescue Tools and Extrication Equipment. The door popped and the patient was removed for transport by EMS.
Crews remained on scene clearing debris and securing the vehicle. Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
