Shippensburg University women’s soccer team came back to win 2-1 in overtime against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opponent Mansfield at David See Field.

Shippensburg (4-5-1, 4-3-1 PSAC East) trailed late in the second half; but they evened the score with 2:54 remaining, as senior K.K. O’Donnell (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) sent the ball into the net off a feed from senior Kelli Dunagan (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial). It is O’Donnell’s third goal in the last two matches; and she has now recorded a point in three straight matches.

In overtime, in the 98th minute, Dunagan sent a crossing pass that junior Sydney Miller (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) finished into the net to give the Raiders the win.

Miller’s golden goal was the first goal of her collegiate career.

Dunagan totaled two assists; she entered Wednesday’s match with just one career assist in 35 career matches.

Mansfield (1-6-2, 0-5-2) scored first, as a free kick from Taylar Luckenbill was handled by Katelyn Rueppel and sent into the net in the 75th minute.
