Path Valley man jailed

A Dry Run man is in Franklin County Jail Monday night, charged with endangering two women an their young children during a domestic dispute earlier in the day.

Pennsylvania State Police asked local residents to avoid the 18000 block of Path Valley Road at about mid-morning Monday while they investigated a disturbance in that area. It is unknown at this time if they were looking for a suspect or simply gathering evidence.

By mid-afternoon Jordan Randall Miller, 35, was in custody and had been arraigned on assault and endangerment charges. Monday was Miller’s birthday, according to online court records.

Victims were listed on a police report as a 23-year-old woman and an infant girl from Dry Run, and a 24-year old woman and one-year-old boy from Fannettsburg.

Miller is charged with:

  • Endangering Welfare of Children, Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense
  • Endangering Welfare of Children, Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense
  • Making terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize Another
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person (Four counts)
  • Simple Assault

The child endangerment charges are second degree felonies. The four reckless endangerment charges are third. Degree misdemeanors.

Magisterial District Judge Annie Gomez-Shockey set Miller’s bail $200,000. His preliminary hearing takes place July 27 in Franklin County Central Court.
