She is survived in life by her husband Charles Hawkins and three children- Rhon Hawkins, his daughter Desirae Hawkins, her wife Dounia and their son Liam; Ray Hawkins, his wife Andrea and their two children Ian and Alia; Yolanda Collins and her son Patrick. Pat grew up in North Dakota, living on a farm. It was there while working for the Department of the Army that she met the love of her life, “Hunny Bunny” Charles E. Hawkins. They were married on February 15, 1974. Her husband’s job took them to many places over the years, living in Arizona, Georgia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Pat retired from the Department of the Army in 2001 and moved to Tennessee with her hunny bunny. They returned to Pennsylvania in 2014 to be near their grandchildren. In 2021 they returned to Waynesboro where she reconnected with old friends, Pat spent the last 18 months of her life fighting cancer like the warrior that she was.

Pat and Charlie loved to travel, visiting all fifty states and her bucket list destination of Pris, France. Their last state to visit was Hawaii. Where they renewed their vows in 2018. Her favorite destinations were the ones where family and friends were waiting for her. There was nothing more important to her than her family. Pat was loved by all who knew her. She was always a very kind, generous, and supportive woman. She leaves behind many friends and will be missed by all.
