Pauline M Goshorn, 88, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

Born March 3, 1933 in Mercersburg , PA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Rubeck, Sr. and Carrie Bowers Rubeck and was the widow of the late Cecil L. Goshorn, who passed away January 26, 1999.

A 1951 graduate of Lemasters High School, Pauline was last employed at F&M Trust in Chambersburg as a book keeper.

Pauline was a longtime member of Chambersburg Bible Church where she taught Sunday school and was a helper for VBS for many years. In her earlier years, she taught Sunday school and was a VBS helper at various local churches.

Pauline was a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) for more than 25 years, where she held many leadership positions. She spent many hours doing charity work for heart and cancer fundraising.

Pauline was always a very driven and hard working woman. She was meticulous in tending to her lawn and garden. She enjoyed traveling and arranging flowers, and decorating for every holiday. She was a passionate reader which kept her mind sharp.

Surviving are her children, Gary L. Goshorn and wife Wanda, Robert L. Goshorn and wife Bonita, John L. Goshorn and wife Terri, and Deborah Goshorn-Stenger and husband Douglas; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her siblings, Ray, Luther, Jr., Anna and Martha.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Chambersburg Bible Church, 810 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Gary Yoder will officiate.

Burial following the service will be private.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church before the service.

Additionally, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Church, 2509 Black Gap Rd., Chambersburg, with a light lunch to following the service.
